Welcome to the 2006 Walking Club Christmas Tea Party Page

On Thursday,
December 7th, 20 members of the walking group gathered at the
Vintage Tea Leaf in Long Beach to partake in a Christmas Tea. After they
each selected a vintage hat and an individual tea cup, they were shown into the
beautifully decorated tea room. While indulging in wonderful cranberry scones
along with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, a delicious variety of hot teas were
served including English Spice Pudding, Strawberry Cream and Brandy Apricot.
Then came a variety of tea sandwiches, fresh fruit and finger desserts. After
some mingling with one another, we adjourned to their little gift shop where
some Christmas gifts were purchased. A good time was had by all!
